A. Expert Witness in Blue Man Group Litigation
In the summer of 2017, I was retained as an expert witness on standard contractual terms in the entertainment industry for the case of Pai vs. Blue Man Group et al. in New York’s Supreme Court. This involves generating expert reports, sitting for deposition, sitting in on other depositions (e.g., deposition of any opposing experts), and attending trial as a witness.

B. “The Arts and the Law” at University of Kentucky
This semester (January, 2018), I begin my “side hustle” as a adjunct professor for the graduate students in University of Kentucky’s Department of Arts Administration. This course, “The Arts and the Law,” will introduce tomorrow’s arts administrators to contract law, not-for-profit structure and collaborations, copyright, fair use, employment law, and more. Go Wildcats!
