If you have a website where third-parties can post material, then you need to re-register a designated agent with the Copyright Office.
The Digital Millennium Copyright Act (the “DMCA”) provides certain website owners with a safe harbor from copyright infringement.
This requires, among other things, registering a designated agent with the Copyright Office. Even if you have already registered, the Copyright Office requires you to RE-REGISTER electronically before the end of 2017. Please contact me at davefaux@dhf-law.net for more information.
